I*WE’s Origin Story

Some years ago, an American farmer named Korbin loved working with the Earth and was trying to pivot to bringing this regenerative spirit to the ocean. She moved to the Norwegian Arctic in this pursuit where she found herself instead around a fire with a diverse crew of international students at a folk school.
They met there as a result of this beautiful question a young Dane asked the farmer; "Will you teach us how to have good conversations?"
This first meeting turned into ongoing explorations of inner worlds - philosophies, emotions, questions and ideas. They in the gamme (pronounced GAH-mah) - an indigenous structure made of birch and peat holding a cast iron fireplace and nestled in the forest. Korbin’s plan to regenerate fisheries turned into regenerating something completely unexpected...and unseen.
Our inner worlds…which the farmer in her realized need regenerating just as Earth ecosystems do; that in fact they are a reflection of one another.
Korbin is now certified in the Transformational Coaching Method, rooted in Neuro-Linguistic Programming and Internal Family Systems, which provides a creative roadmap to become the leaders of ourselves and in that way care and serve and collaborate with others.
She is graduating with her Masters degree in Creative Leadership with the Minneapolis College of Art & Design later in 2025 and is brimming with excitement to work with communities gathering around the hearth for this time of great change.

Will you come gather ‘round this fire?
The call to explore our inner worlds - together - is growing louder in this moment of collective unraveling.
Inner World Ecosystems (I*WE) is a regenerative leadership container where the roots run deep. It's where radical leaders come to compost burnout, isolation, and fear - and transform them into clarity, courage, and connection that builds lasting purpose and communities that lead.
If you’re ready to trade loneliness for community, urgency for alignment, and self-sacrifice for soul-led impact… this is your invitation.
There’s a place around the fire for you.
